Hi, I’m Amanda.
I’m glad you’re here!
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with autistic* and other neurodivergent individuals of all ages. This has given me a deep understanding of the intersection between neurodivergence and mental health needs. My practice now focuses not only on supporting neurodivergent individuals but also on helping the people who care for them—parents, family members, caregivers, and other support persons—navigate the unique challenges they face.
I offer therapy that focuses on improving understanding, addressing support needs, enhancing emotional well-being, and ultimately improving the quality of life for both individuals and their support systems.
In addition, as a two-time cancer survivor, I bring both clinical expertise and personal experience to my practice in supporting those with chronic health issues. I understand firsthand the challenges of navigating chronic illness, as well as the emotional complexities of grief, loss, and uncertainty that often accompany such journeys. This unique perspective informs my compassionate, empathic approach to supporting clients through similar experiences.
*I use identity-first rather than person-first language when referring to autism, as it is the expressed preference of the autism community.
