Individual Therapy for Children, Teens, and Adults

The work I do is rooted in empathy and practical support. I offer individual therapy for

My goal is to provide a safe space for you to process your feelings, gain insight, and develop strategies that foster healing and sustainable support.

Therapy for Life with Chronic Illness

Living with a chronic illness can impact every part of your life, physically, emotionally, and socially.

Whether you're newly diagnosed, navigating long-term treatment, or adjusting to a "new normal," therapy can offer a safe, supportive space to process what you're going through.

As a two-time cancer survivor, I bring both professional expertise and personal understanding to this work. I know firsthand how isolating, overwhelming, and uncertain the experience of chronic illness can be. My goal is to walk alongside you, offering support, practical tools, and a place where all of your emotions are welcome.

Specialized Expertise in EMDR & Neurodivergence

In addition to my work with caregivers, I have specialized training and am certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy. My experience with EMDR therapy has proven especially valuable in supporting individuals with autism and other neurodivergent conditions who have experienced trauma or are living with PTSD.

Over the years, I’ve conducted research and developed expertise in treating PTSD in neurodivergent individuals with a wide range of support needs, always striving to create trauma-informed, accessible care.

Neurodivergence-Affirming Behavior Consultation and Support

I utilize a trauma-informed approach to behavior support, integrating a deep understanding of the emotional nervous system and mental health needs. With professional backgrounds in both mental health and applied behavior analysis (ABA), I offer a unique perspective on behavior, grounded in psychological safety and a reformed, compassionate application of ABA principles.

  • I conduct comprehensive functional behavior assessments and develop targeted behavior intervention plans that address both challenging behaviors and skill development.

  • Recognizing the critical role of the environment in behavior change, I place strong emphasis on parent and caregiver training. Meaningful progress requires that skills and positive behaviors extend beyond the therapeutic setting and into everyday life.
