As a licensed professional counselor in Texas, I am committed to providing transparent information about your rights as a client and consumer of mental health services.

Requesting Your Health Care Records

You have the right to request a copy of your health care records. To request your records, please contact me directly via email at amanda@amandatami.com or by phone at (512) 763-0781.

I will respond to your request within the timeframes required by Texas law. Please note that there may be a reasonable fee for copying and mailing records.

Contacting the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council

The Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council (BHEC) regulates licensed professional counselors in Texas. You may contact them with questions about licensure or to verify a provider's credentials.

Filing a Consumer Complaint

If you have concerns about the services you have received, I encourage you to discuss them with me directly. However, you also have the right to file a complaint with the appropriate regulatory body.

Privacy Practices

Your privacy is important to me. Information shared in therapy is confidential and protected by law, with limited exceptions required by Texas law (such as imminent danger to self or others, child or elder abuse, or court orders). A complete Notice of Privacy Practices is provided to all clients at the start of services.
